MAC Matte Mehr Lipstick Review

Hi all beautiful people, today I am going to review one of the most popular nude lipstick shades from MAC Matte range. The name of this lipstick is Mehr and it is one of my most favorite nude color. So let's read the review below.

Packaging

The Matte Mehr lipstick comes in the basic MAC lipstick packaging, which is a black bullet shape and does not denote the color of lipstick on it. So in order to recognize the shade from outside, the only way to do it is by reading the name of the shade that is mentioned on the back of it. The cap has a magnet-like closure so the lipstick keeps in its place, and in spite of having too much stuff in my bag, it does not open.

My Experience

When it comes to nude shade, I am in love with the Mehr color because this is just what I was looking for. The color is a soft nude mauve shade with blue undertones, that gives my face a soft and supple glow without being too much. I like nudes with a little pink color as I am not a great fan of brown lipsticks, moreover a little pinkish touch on lips always looks good and gives a fresh glow to the face as well.

This lipstick is great for everyday office or college wear and it is never too much. So when one does not wish to over do the lips with bright reds and pinks, the MAC Matte Mehr comes to the rescue with a very beautiful nude shade. 

The MAC matte Mehr has an excellent color pay off, as with just one single swipe you get the proper color.  

Single Swipe

I am a fan of Matte range from MAC and this lipstick does a great job too, by not being too drying and softly gliding on my lips. So applying this lipstick or wearing it for a long time is a very comfortable experience for me. Since, Mehr has a creamy texture, it does not accentuate any fine lines on my lips and is not at all uncomfortable to me. 

Fortunately Mehr will suit all Indian skin tones from fair to dusky and anyone can wear it confidently. Since it is Matte that too from MAC (I am highly impressed with MAC mattes), it stays on my lips for long and I do not have to do touch ups all the time. Probably only after a meal I may need a touch up. Moreover, most of the lipsticks from MAC matte leaves a nice color on the lips and wears off without giving you worries of looking into the mirror.

Will I Buy It Again?

Absolutely this is a perfect nude shade with pink tones and not very easy to find in other brands. I will for sure buy it again and again.
